Today, I launched Reach the Source. Reach the Source (RTS) is a resource of materials related to New York State Common Core high school mathematics (Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II). The materials here are designed to clarify New York State’s supplementary material for Common Core high school math standards, which can be found on several documents on the New York State Education Department’s EngageNY web site.
For now, I’ve posted materials related to the overall Common Core high school curriculum – a summary of the standards for each high school Regents-level course and an annotated version of the Algebra I Common Core standards (which has examples and levels of difficulty for each standard). Eventually, I plan to post lesson plans by unit for each course, based on my own lesson plans.
