The Digital Freedom
Network's logo symbolizes the hope that all people can live in
peace and freedom. The dove is an ancient symbol of peace and
renewal.
Join people around
the world in a universal show of support for freedom and democracy.
Put DFN’s dove on your Web site, and learn what
else you can do to support DFN's work.
To add a DFN link
to your Web site:

- Copy one of
these GIFs to your computer.
For Netscape
on an Apple Macintosh, click on the GIF and hold down the mouse
button until a pop-up menu appears. For Netscape on a Windows
machine, click on the GIF using the right mouse button until
a pop-up menu appears.
Then from the pop-up menu, select the option Save this Image
as..., pick a folder where you want the image to be saved,
and pick a filename for the GIF. Then click the Save button.
- Add the following
code to the HTML files on your Web page:
<A HREF="http://dfn.org/"><IMG SRC="dfn.gif"
ALT="DFN" BORDER="0"></A>
where “dfn.gif” is the name of the GIF that you chose
in step 1.
Remember to include the relative or absolute path with the
filename if you store the GIF in a directory that differs from
the HTML file to which you add this code. For example, if you
want to add a DFN link to your home page at http://www.myhomepage.com/index.html
and you want to store the DFN GIF in a subdirectory of your
site called “images,” located at http://www.myhomepage.com/images/,
then add the following code to the file index.html:
<A HREF="http://dfn.org/"><IMG SRC="images/dfn.gif"
ALT="DFN" BORDER="0"></A>
- Download the
updated HTML files and the DFN GIF to the server that stores
your Web pages.
- Tell
DFN about your link.
